In March I became a member of the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Non-Profit Organization. This is for babies born whom will not live very long. I would meet the mom and dad at the hospital & photograph their son or daughter. This gives the parents something to hold onto once their baby has passed. It was a very hard decision to make, but has paid off a million times over.
Here is a story that our organization would like to share.
Just listen to this story from our Executive Director, Jessica Roe: "Last week, I noticed a large donation in the amount of $1,000 come through on our web site. There was no "in memory" designation as we see on many donations, so I gave the donor a call and after thanking her for the contribution, I asked her whether she had made the gesture on behalf of a NILMDTS family. She explained that no, that was not the case. Instead, she stated she had just been on her personal photographer's web site placing an order for a few more prints from a recent anniversary party he photographed, and she saw the information about NILMDTS and she was inspired to donate."
