A Story About Kitty...

One day in September, my daughter, her friend & I went for a walk to find her cell phone that she had dropped. Once we found the phone, & were walking towards my SUV, the girls heard a cry from a kitten. "Mom, look it is a sick kitten." He had to be as cute as a button, but he was as sick as could be. We rushed him to the vet, got tons of meds, food, etc. & decided to try to take care of him. Unfortunately, my husband is allergic to cats, so we really couldn't keep him. At the same time, a little girl wanted a kitten, little Ms. "B" found someone to love. It was a great match. The kitten was saved, he found a nice home & a girl fell in love with the little guy. Of course they had to bring him & their dog for this years Christmas pictures. Thanks so much for providing a great home for "Winkie". You guys are the best!!!

On the Farm...

Last week I arrived to take outdoor pictures of the family, who would have know it was going to be 20 below there. Brrrrrrrrr!!! HeHe, well not 20 below, but cold enough. We decided that the kids would freeze to death and the wind would have blown us all to Oz.. So we rearranged their house a bit & took them in the old farm house. Thanks to all of you for being such good sports & taking great pictures. I will have the rest up soon to view. Stay warm!!!

New Software

For all of my clients asking for frames, here they are. This is great software, we can sit together and try different mats, frames with their own images inside them.

This family was great & Mr. "R" was wonderful. We have some nice smiles. He fell in love with my fire truck, so I hope Santa brings him so sort of truck for Christmas. I am almost finished with all of the images for you to view as well. I will be sending you another link later today. Thanks for coming.

Sweetest Moment

Here is another little boy that I have taken pictures of before. He was so cute. Everyone was standing around him, but I zoomed in to get this. He wants to grow up to be just like Santa ;)

Santa Sunday 11/16 P.M. Crowd...

Here are all of our afternoon families. We also have to congratulate the engaged couple. We have lots of other pictures, but I wanted you to see them as a family. Thanks to all of you for coming!!!

Best Dressed...

If I had an award for the best dressed of all my Santa sessions, it would Miss "K". Unfortunately, I don't have an award, but she won hands down. The kids were all dressed very nicely & I saw some amazing dresses, but her hat, jacket & matching dress won my heart. Plus I have taken pictures of her before & she is getting so big. I also felt bad that she was to afraid of Santa to talk to him, look at him or even be near him. Poor Santa he felt bad too.

Santa Sunday 11/16 A.M. Crowd...

Ho - Ho - Ho!!! Merry Christmas!!! WOW, this day flew by. These are our AM Santa visitors from last Sunday. We had some great photos of the kids enjoy special times with Santa. Plus I am going to give Santa 2 thumbs up from me personally!!! We have some great portraits from it & Mrs. Claus looks great as well. (No more kissing under the mistle toe Mrs. Claus!!) For any of you that missed seeing the German Shepard take a peek at him. He is an impressive doggy, that is for sure. I have never seen a better dog then him. He did exactly what we wanted him to. To all AM Moms & Dads, I am through most of these photos & will be sending you another email to view all of them in an hour or so. Make sure to pick out your free photo & call me ASAP so I can get them ordered for you. Hope all is well.

My Surprise Photos

Sometimes the kids let me know in a big way that I have taken enough pictures & that is just the way it goes. I pushed this little angel to put on one of my pettis & I was only able to get about 4 photos of her. I thought all was lost & then I took at look & found that not only do I have 1, but 2 beauties. Her smile is as real as it gets. Crazy because she was twirling around on her little chair. It wasn't what I had in mind, but it works just the same. I can't decide which one I like better.
I am the luckiest photographer around. All of my clients are beautiful inside & out. Thank you to all of my clients for giving me such great opportunities. You are the best!!!

If anyone has been following my blog, I had the opportunity to take maternity photos of my BFF. Guess what, the baby arrive 10 days ago! Congrats!!! Well of course she needs announcements & I am here for her. This is the back of it & of course I can't share the baby's name, but would love to show it. I might be one of the lucky gals that will get one to keep in with my samples. To my BFF, I grabbed a few from today to get this going for ya. You will have a very few to view as well. The rest you are going to have to wait for. Sorry!!! I have clients waiting for Christmas cards too. If you want you can come up & go through the raw files on my laptop to help me out. I am running out of time. Love ya ;)

Sneak Peeks

I am trying to get some sneak peeks for all of you. I will try to stay a bit closer up to date for all of you. These were ataken last night. I am trying really hard to get my edits done, but please be patient. I will send you another link when you can view them.

Amazing Story...

Here is one of my clients that came to me last year. She is the sweetest little thing & I love her to pieces. This year she came to me on a Saturday & when I asked about coming to see Santa, the answer was no. Once I was talking to her mother, we found out that the last tie she sat on Santa's lap was when she was 12 months old. I invited her to come over & help make cookies & watch Santa. Before the end of the day, she went onto his lap & was quite happy. I think Santa did a great job with her & giving her a few hours with Santa helped her get over her fears. I was so proud of her, I gave her lots of hugs when she was done. Two thumbs up, girlfriend! Great job!!!

Family Ties...

This was my second session with these kids & they are adorable!!! I am working on your portraits now, so I will have them available for you to view soon!!! Thanks for the opportunity!!

A Warm November Day...

We made plans for outdoor photos, but due to the rain we were supposed to get, we went for indoor photos. It turn out to not rain & be really warm, so went went out for a few. I have so many great photos, my client will have to come & help me weed through some to find her favorites.

Old Fashion Christmas...

For all of you that miss the days of yesteryear, this will bring you right back to the 50's. When Christmas was more about enjoying your family & watching your kids string popcorn & cranberries. When it wasn't how much was under the tree, but that there was 1 thing under there with your name on it. Mr. & Mrs. Claus are available for Christmas Parties, Fire Houses, Day Care Centers, Tree Lighting's, etc. Find them at www.deckerthehalls.net. Book them today. P.S. To all of my clients, Santa is coming back one more time. Sunday Nov. 23rd and there are a few mini sessions available. To all of the mom's & dad's that brought there kids on the 16th, I am working on them now & will put them up as soon as possible on my viewing site. You will get an email with the link. Thank you to everyone that came, we were busy & I am sure I didn't get to talk to you enough. Thanks for sharing our day!!!

Ruff, Ruff...

For all of you that see me as only a family portrait photography, think again. I have been taking pet portraits for quite awhile & here are 2 of my latest. These dogs live in the same home and came on different days. Lucky for me. Of course their human mommy help me a ton. Thanks Mommy!! Plus if you look back at my other post you will see her third dog. We are waiting to hear the good news. Cali will be having puppies any day & we are all excited about that!!!! I can't wait to take pictures of 7 to 9 black lab puppies!!!! Guinness loved my camera & we got his pictures within a 1/2 hour. All of his pictures are beautiful. Maddie & Cali made me earn my keep, but they are all wonderful dogs. I love the large picture of Maddie, it makes me smile every time I look at it.!!!
