Cutest Kids EVER!!!!

Some days I just smile while I work. Look at my subjects, they are all so adorable in their own special way. Miss. S posed perfectly for her fairy makeover & she is only a bit over 1 year old. I had to share this one, it was too cute to leave out.

A beautiful day....

Here is a wedding album from one of my May weddings. I have to say the bride & groom were such a pleasure to work with & I am happy their book is finish, but am sad at the same time. I closed the book on their special day & locked memories from their wedding day inside it :) The bride & I turned their day into a heirloom keepsake that someday they can share with children & grandchildren, nieces & nephews. My work is finished, but their story has just begun. Congrats to K+C & I wish them tons of happiness!!! Thank you!

Good News...

I have been behind on my sessions & wanted to give you a heads up as to why. 10+ years ago I actually started a screen printing business that eventually will be my husbands full time job someday. Every summer I make 600+ soccer shirts for a youth soccer club in Pine Bush which sounds like no big deal, but is actually very time consuming. So in between taking photos, editing them, putting books together, traveling for the destination wedding & of course soccer shirts, I have been overwhelmed. The good news is... as of today I am finished with the soccer order & can start getting caught up again. Ok, well I also have to take my kids school shopping, go to Hershey (Wa-Hoo) & try to fit in some camping time before September, but I have a list of everyone I need to edit photos for, make books or slideshows for, so just hang tight & I will get to you all, I promise.

Great time at the lake...

I met the nicest people on this session. I only drove 20 minutes from my house & found a beautiful get-away retreat! The view from their house was beautiful. The kids were all great & even dealt with the horrible gnats that were flying all over the place :( I have been behind on my edits & opened them up to find a few photos with fairy dust on them... oh wait, they were all the darn gnats annoying all of us. I forgot about them :) The kids enjoyed making funny faces in between the happier looking ones 7 I had to share this one of the cousins having fun on their vacation together. Hilarious! For all of you that...

Want to know how our studio project is going... see for yourself. Having my awesome worker 1 day a week has really slowed us/him down. He works really cheap, so how can I complain?? Look at what was under the spongy floor, beams that could turn to dust at any minute. These photos were taken this week, I think we are at the worst the studio will be. It can only get better, right??? My husband had a vision of a whole family disappearing from sight if we left the floor the way it was, plus it is better dealing with it now before we paint & get my mini kitchen & bathroom in & then realizing we should have took care of the problem. Hopefully we will get all the fill in this week or next & then get a plumber, electrician & someone to pour a floor, things will start shaping up again. Then if we can get a crew of volunteers together & help with the painting, I would be sooooooooo thrilled!!!!!!!!!

Talented Senior...

This girl has musical talent like crazy, she plays the Harp, Guitar, Clarinet, Piano, etc. etc. etc. 7 instruments in total I think. With talent like that I am sure she can use some head shots to get work on broadway for sure. I hope some of her talent will were off on me, hehe. I can't sing a note to save my life!!
