Work on Studio 1859...

You will all be surprised to see how far the building has come since the last pictures I posted. It was depressing to go to the studio & see it without a floor & just tons of rocks to walk on. We all have decided it could only get better from there & it really did!!!

When my dad gets an idea in his head, he goes full force with the equipment to get it done. Lucky for us he owns Pine Bush Equipment and they have tons of equipment to sell or rent. The truck was rather impressive & the conveyor was able to move the pile of fill from the side & then it went into a window for the guys to move around. The excavator was loading the conveyor. A Hats off to Nannini & Callahan Excavating for bringing in their Telebelt Service truck! I thought it was a pretty cool day, in my opinion, but I didn't have to work inside like the guys did. Yikes!

Manual labor... since the large truck could only get into our far window, hubby, my brother, father, my nephews & some of their friends didn't seem to enjoy the wheel barrow races they were having :) They were all soaking wet by the end of the day, THANKS SO MUCH to all of you for your hard work. It was sweet off all of them to help us out!

This was the ABSOLUTE worst day of work for the guys here. It was over 90 degrees & they had to work extremely hard to get the fill into our crater looking floor :(

Our new concrete floor getting poured over the radiant heat that Merideth Plumbing put in for us. All babies on the floor will have warm booties while I am photographing them :)

This is where the bathroom & kitchenette will be in the large room of the studio. Heartwood Assoc. framed it out in no time flat.

Saft Electric has been helping us through the whole process & getting my kitchenette & floor outlets together here. The floor outlets will be so helpful to keep the toddlers from tripping on cords.

Paint By Numbers are unbelievable & in less then a week, the walls & ceiling were cleaned, scraped, spackled & painted. Every step since the hole in the floor, made the room look so much better, but this one put the icing on the cake for me. I was so impressed on how much better the room looks at this point. Thank you, thank you & once more, a great big THANK YOU for your help!!!!

I just had to show you the difference here of the ceiling. I was shocked to see how much better the ceiling looks now with some paint on it too!!!

As of today, most of the painting in my shooting room is finished, most of the sheet rock is hung for the bathroom & our flooring in the bathroom is installed. We are hoping to be ordering windows from a Marvin Windows representative to match what we have later today. Thank you to all of the people that have worked on Studio 1859 to get it to where it is thus far!!!
